Considering the lack of communication on the subject , I fully expect the new manager to just turn up in the dugout one day unannounced.

This wouldn't normally bother me, but it's actually pissing me off. Now I know Moshiri has spoke to his mate Jim White, but why don't the club release a statement through something like, erm, our actual PR/media dept! (maybe they have and I've missed it) so it looks like they are at least trying to speak to us, the fans, because as a fan I've never actually felt this distant from the club before.

The priority has to be getting through to May with PL status intact.

Any more ambitious and lofty talk has IMO to be suspended until we are stabilised.

Just have to concentrate on getting out of this crisis, this is the immediate brief for the new manager.

No No No...!

It's this type of attitude that gets us into a Leeds or Sunderland type world.

A stop gap crisis appointment is for the last 8 games or so. Not when we're in November.

You´re joking right? We´ll be in 20 th place if we leave this much longer. I´d bite your hand of for Sean Dyche or Allardyce now.

Can´t believe we´re sat here saying the same things 5 weeks on from Koeman getting the boot. The leadership at this club really are bunch of clowns.

We aren't getting anyone in situ for Wednesday - so we need to have some sort of news and/or unveiling at the game (THIS IS HIGHLY unlikely given the fact that its taken this long so far) to lift the spirits at the match.

Otherwise, the atmosphere is going to be a bit tasty and not for the better.

IF we d appoint allardyce then basically the club is done in terms of any hope for the future mate, i am serious about that

Extremely dramatic mate and unfortunately now you're guilty of the snobbery that has got us here in the first place.

I don't want Sam at all. But, look at us. We're a dreadful mess and we need a manager for the situation.

Give him a year-and-a-half deal and get rid in the summer, I'm not arsed.

I want us to appoint a manager like Dyche who can do both - sure us up and take us forward in the long term.

Let me just say that he is the last person on my personal shortlist. But how long can this go on before it's irrelevant who we've got in?

The season is a write off. It's about now getting out of trouble and making sure of a top 10 finish.

Look at every club that has ever appointed one of these so called 'survival experts' and show me a single one that hasn't died on it's arse within 3-4 seasons tops of them being there, even better show me any single one that has ever amounted to anything after making that decision to appoint one.

We go down that route, it is a blatant admission that as a club we have no strength in our convictions, without that you will always be one fo the happy to survive brigade in this league

Btw mate I'm not advocating Sam.

Dyche would be my choice. Has been for a while.

He's not a 'survival expert'. He gets a lot of unfair stick from people who simply haven't actually seen how he has smartly built a very competitive side at Burnley and how he has helped build the club as well.

Don't confuse snobbery with having standards mate.

I feel sick, if we hire Martin O'Neill and/or Roy Keane in any capacity, I might have to stop following football until they are gone, whether that's 1 year, 3 years, 5 years.

I don't think I could carry on, my hatred for them both is so high

Well done Everton, I think you may have ruined footy for me
