I feel he's hit the ceiling with Sevilla. 5-7 in Liga then Europa all the way. Always selling more than he buys. Sounds familiar?

Well, we're looking this season so we should try, but I agree that might be his plan.
He just signed an extension to 2017, but he did pass on a longer contract, so...he's reachable.
Hopefully we'll be the best offer in town and that he will take it.
I hear Arsenal is also looking at him, but that's just 1 fan's opinion.

Lolling to Zatara and others who didnt rate Emery. Even before this trophy he was top five managers in the world. Now it is safe to say this genius is easily top 3 in the world. Better than Mourinho...yes...easily.

Credentials aside, I think Emery suits our profile better, especially as we're transitioning from a penniless club to one that has financial muscle. Mourinho has done well in team where expectations are lower and financial backing is very strong from the onset. Moshiri is that muscle but I'm not in the mood to strain it yet.

You know he's in contention for PSG too, right?
Also, he's only won 2 UCL so far, 6 years apart and 7 years since his last UCL win.
And we're talking about a project that will take years.
Mourinho has not lasted more than 3 seasons at 1 single club.

I think that just shows a total lack of imagination on the commentators' part, or he was being toungue-in-cheek.

I'm led to believe that Emery hasn't won away in the league all season and I don't think we need another cup manager, personally.

If we want someone to wind the reds up, Jose will do that very capably.
