Agree with you, de boer seems to be overrated, he lack of clubs experience (only manage Ajax) and top leagues experience (no league experience in England, Spain, Germany or Italy). The track record of him in transfer market is still uncertain since most of the players in Ajax are their own youth players. Our team needs to rebuild this year and we have transfer fund to employ players, a manager with good track record in transfer market can use the money wisely and fit to our team.

No he has a director of football, which is what Southampton have and what we are talking about. What he does do is coach them and develop them into much better players before they get sold for a massive profit. Negative net spend -£83 million but still finished 5,5 & 7 whilst winning the Europa League three times. Yes one season he hasn't won away, what about his previous 9? Mourinho has just had a disaster of a season and been sacked yet no ones complaining about that!
