I'm not sure why there's (a small ammount) of love for Pellegrini. I can honestly say I'd prefer Martinez for another year than him. He's failed at City, badly.
My top 3 now would be
Mou
Emery
Koeman
Amazing what 45 mins of footy can do. Lol at me.
We could almost do with a multi choice, Mourinho and who else would you like.
Yeah.You mean like a 2nd and 3rd preferences ?
Yeah.
Most of us want him but do we really expect to get him? Be interesting to see who we fancy after him.
Manuel Pellegrini's assertion that there will be more academy players in the Manchester City first team after he has left is as comic as it is tragic.
While tributes for the Charming Man pour in from the first team squad, it has been clear for some time that the coach's relationship with most youngsters at the club has been non-existent.
It is hard enough for scholars to make the transition up to senior football at a club like City but the manager for the past three years has ignored the bottleneck building at the CFA, as have those who he has answered to.
The side that lined up at the Academy Stadium in last year's FA Youth Cup final have been given 23 Premier League minutes this season, 13 for Bersant Celina and 10 for Manu Garcia; the likes of Pablo Maffeo, Cameron Humphreys, Tosin Adarabioyo, Angelino, Kean Bryan and Brandon Barker are still waiting for their competition debuts.
Nice up front.....Carol, the weather lady.
how come you get 9 likes for my joke lolFiled....
Previously I would have been happy with Pellegrini. But this article from the MEN is a bit disturbing:
Nothing happening today? Preferred last Thursday much more exciting
We've got a great crop of youngsters, think we need someone who can blend them in and add some quality players as well. Reading that would put me off Pellegrini. It will be interesting to see what Guardiola does there.Previously I would have been happy with Pellegrini. But this article from the MEN is a bit disturbing:
