He wont want money from player sales mate, he wants the Club to show ambition and get those players to stay.

Even if the Southampton do show ambition and offer them ££ plus the signing of more top players its still no guarantee that they will sign. We may be in a similar boat, even if we get Koeman and promise Rom, Ross and Stones that we will spend £100 mill they could still want off.

I went on the Saints sub-reddit and when I asked them their thoughts on Koeman's future, I didn't get any answers just a bunch of insults and lectures about how "Southampton are much better than Everton"

It's sobering to think that many, if not most with a neutral perspective in this think that Koeman to Everton would be a sideways step for him.
I talk to a lot of colleagues about football, and of the non-blues, none have an axe to grind against Everton and yet none could get their heads around us being able to tempt Koeman.

Even Martinez didn't manage to lose 6-1 to them though. I know he has his good points obviously but I'm still not convinced about him.
But Martinez lost a LOT of other games to a LOT of other teams? How is losing to Liverpool in one game such a major factor. Let's sub Mourinho in for Koeman, if he'd lost one game to them 6-1 would that mean don't even consider him?

That's an enormous indictment against the former owners and directors of the club - how they've allowed our standing to fall to such levels. It won't happen in the future.

True it wasn't 6-1 but the face on Klopp laughing and the abject humiliation should have been enough to cost him his job immediately after the game. Pity we we didn't show the same ruthlessness that United showed, otherwise we might have been playing in the final today. And at least Koeman has managed to beat them.
