Roberto Mancini. Good Premiership experience....can't get better than winning it...and tactically astute. Still got a house in Cheshire and would be able to attract decent names.

We'd save on the coaching gear as well....quick wash and Lenor and he wouldn't know any different.
internazionale fans think he's crap and inept. In a league which is meant to be easy. He had money to burn at city, he won't at Everton because of ffp.

Just got to hope that whoever Mr.Moshiri does succeed in appointing is a man to energise everyone and give the club fresh and positive belief.
If Mr.M sees Ronald Koeman as that man and is prepared to back his judgement with sufficient transfer funds to enable RK or a.n.other to seriously strengthen and improve the squad, then the sooner it's done the better, especially with Lukaku seemingly crying like a stuck pig to anyone who will listen.

And on that, he says he wants CL footie, so if he wants out, we have to stand firm and rebuff any attempts from Manure and Mourinho, if needs be, sell him to City and Pep if only to stick two fingers up to Manure.

It's sobering to think that many, if not most with a neutral perspective in this think that Koeman to Everton would be a sideways step for him.
I talk to a lot of colleagues about football, and of the non-blues, none have an axe to grind against Everton and yet none could get their heads around us being able to tempt Koeman.
Yes unfortunately that's what i find too, most of my colleagues who follow football are non-blues but not one can see it as anything other than a sideways move at best.

As The Esk says a real indictment on our former owners and directors, as there's no way our standing should be so low.

That's an enormous indictment against the former owners and directors of the club - how they've allowed our standing to fall to such levels. It won't happen in the future.
With respect esk, it's changed now from fluttering our eyelashes at mourinho, [Poor language removed] has just got serious. If Koeman doesn't see us as progression then we are in real trouble.

Modern day football has no place for stature of clubs. Thats why I never get the bitter arguments and hatred fan bases of clubs have with/of each other over history and size of a club. We are talking about a time when we have witnessed Teixiera, Ramires, Jackson Martinez and Lavezzi, all of whom could have signed for 'top' or 'big' clubs in major leagues but instead have ended their careers and are now ploughing their trade with conference quality players because they were offered more money. Club size = ££££ these days.

I think the football world still thinks we are skint and are still owned by Kenwright so cant understand why Koeman would want to leave a team who has just had an excellent season, an improvememt on the previous season and European football to come here. So I can kind of understand the thinking.

If/when we start splashing the cash we will be taken more seriously.

Great advert for Koeman that, Martinez ripped his team apart this season and they lost 6-1 to the RS too.

Yeah let's not forget they got into Europe twice, broke Saints' PL points record not once but twice, beat City 4-2, Arsenal 4-0, RS 3-2 (from 2-0 down), Spurs 2-1, and all that out of 2 seasons selling their best players and having a limited budget.

I also encounter a number of these types too as I work in different places across the country. The issue though is a real lack of knowledge football in general from them they tend to be sky sports news fanatics who read the daily Mirror/daily mail & have never stepped foot on a forum such as this.

I can count on one hand the number of times I read a mainstream football article & feel like i learnt something so much of it is utter drivel conversely there are so many excellent blogs fan sites such as this & stats sites to read & learn from that I don't tend to subscribe to sky sports news info or daily newspaper websites.

Anyway back to my point anyone who understands modern football needs to look no further than this Koeman is currently paid £2.3 million & is the 20th highest paid manager in the world we will most likely offer up to £5 million it really ends there if Southampton won't match it he comes he seriously won't risk missing out on this for a pipe dream of Arsenal in 12 months unless it is already signed & sealed but last reports indicated kroenke to offer we get new deal

City fans still adore him....and, with Moshiri's investment, the Sky money and any incoming fees Everton could be at, or very near the top of the spending tree. If you think RM wouldn't drop the dullard Serie A for that, and a bit of EPL action I think you're missing a trick.
