The Sun saying Emery is one of the best managers in Europe but what could he achieve by going to Everton, a top six ?, he would be better staying at Seville, they want us to be the under achievers of the prem, hope Moshiri is reading this garbage in the press.

Ignore them they are just pandering to the glory hunting masses. The idea of Everton challenging the status quo is anathema to their "readers".

I cant decide tbh..I feel excited but sick at the same time. Doesnt matter who we get, nothing is guaranteed, having premier league experience would probably be my biggest swinger...being a winner in spain, Portugal doesnt mean success in the prem. Gunna be suck n see who ever gets it. That worries me ...but i am a glass empty kinda guy.

He won one league title largely down to Liverpool imploding (lol) with 3 games to go

I like to look at the bigger picture not just the stat that says he won it

He's had 400m to spend on players since he arrived and has a couple of league cups and a league title, I would say he's failed massively
This is absolutely spot on

3 years ago you would have jumped at Pellegrini or van gaal taking over.

Considering how we have performed for 2 years, don't think anyone should be turning their nose up at managers who aren't from relegated teams and actually have some achievement on their career

And that's our standard right there

Anyone who's not got relegated

I'm talking about people dissecting the likes of Pellegrini as if they aren't good enough for us. Yet Pellegrini was good enough for a title challenging team and was good enough for real Madrid to appoint.

Yet here is a mid table team whos best players may want to leave and previous appointments have been poor for what, 19 years and suddenly the former real Madrid manager isnt good enough

I can understand reservations about De Boer or fears of Moyes or whatever sure. But Pellegrini for arguments sake has been sought after by much more successful teams in recent years.
