I'm not claiming to be right ITK, but a lad I used to go the game with when we were kids has been a key sponsor at EFC for many years, having made millions abroad. He tells me that Moshiri doesn't want Moyes, end of.

My take is that Moyes has pulled out of Villa for either West Brom or Southampton if Koeman goes.

Ahh, now that would make sense!

Lets be honest here Moyes will have made a lot of contacts in his time in the media. We know he's very close to Alan Brazil. He will be pulling in the favours in the media.

Talksport is basically the bastion of the white van driving southern man. Quite an ignorant bunch especially when it comes to northern teams like Everton. Unfortunately we don't play the game like Newcastle and do whacky strange things to provide entertainment for them. We just blend in and are just another Stoke to them. Their view is that Moyes did a great job for us like Pulis did for Stoke, Curbishley did for Charlton and are secretly delighted it went a bit tits up after he left, as it served us right for getting uppity. The sensible appointment is Moyes as all Everton can ever achieve is top half finishes.

I wouldn't worry too much. In all honesty I think Stubbs would come back here before Moyes does. I think Unsworth would be left in charge before him.

I'm glad the club has confirmed via its media channels that it has contacted Moyes - and not the other way round.

Let's interview him, at least once (though if we are doing it at this stage he's on second interview) and if he has made the improvements required, it's not a bad shout to give him another go

There are positives and negatives in all candidates. Moyes is no different

It's a terrible shout, he left us, failed at two other clubs and then it's a good idea to get him back again?
