This may have been said but is Emery really a good option.
I know little about him and although he has done great in the Uefa cup his league form has been poor and he did not win an away game this season. I am happy to be convinced as there may be reasons for the poor side.

It's nice to be linked with some of the best managers around but isn't it strange there's no standout choice. They all seem to come with varying degrees of downside. Emery is my current pick but there's a chap who didn't win an away game in the league last season! Alarm bells should be ringing but his European success overshadows it, it seems.
One name that gets brushed aside as soon as mentioned is David Unsworth. He's not ready, they say, as if any of us know if that's true or not! There's been enough examples of this happening at bigger clubs than ours, Barcelona and Real Madrid to name but two. In a perfect world I'd like to see him given the job and bring through the kids he knows better than anyone. Combine that with a sprinkling of top class talent where needed and Bobs your uncle. Blimey, we might even play 442 again. Happy days.

We are entering the final straight.

We held on for Jose, pipe dream or not. Now we are waiting on Emery, if he swerves us we will give Koeman a now or never, then move on to Pellegrini, De Boer is back up.

10 days MAX.

did you just write that or did i?
think thats exactly what will happend.

There's no suggestion we are going to meet Moyes. All that's been reported is that Kenwright had a call with Moyes over the vacancy - what was said, and what the call was about is not reported neither.

The whole Moyes episode is being blown out of the water. It's not going to happen.
Can you put this in 72 font on the main Everton forum page please mate.

As we've had some pretty tasty head fires this afternoon and at least one explosion

The challenge for a new manager will be to attract top calibre players, we will have money and no european football. We need a manager whose coaching credentials mean that players want to play for him.

Its just common sense, clear to all non-mutants.

Only people with head control can see it.

Inevitable his name would surface from the media - does he really need to be interview after his disastorous career since leaving us - blimey the great HK never worked the 2 Nd time around it would be a big step backwards - hoof!

Koeman stays at Southampton
Emery to us
Pellegrini to Sevilla

I was thinking similar earlier.

Either Emery or Koeman would be acceptable. De Boer I think might be a bit of a gamble that might be too risky after the season we have had.

I suppose anyone but Moyes from the above. Not that I do not appreciate what he did for us, it was his utter car crash stint at Man U and constant embarrassing sound bytes.

I finally have a team to win at Anfield?!?... Gets beat.
Lucky to get out of Old Trafford alive, Baines and Fellaini should be allowed to move for the good of their careers, I would not stand in their way (if current Everton manager). JOG. ON.

He made a fool of himself, akin to Dudley Moore's character in '10'

We should not have him back like Julie Andrews did.
