Well, on the basis that this time 12 months ago the 'list' included the likes Harry Redknapp, Steve McClaren, Alan Pardew! Mark Hughes and the like I suppose the quality of next-big-thing is improvîng.

Benitez would be a good start. Knows how to win trophies, gets tactics spot on and usually buys quality. If Newcastle get relegated then we would have a great chance...plus I believe he still has his family based in the North West

He'd be great with the proper funding our Manager is about to receive.

Quicker to draw up a list of who you wouldn't want to replace Bobby. There really aren't many managers so poor that true would have this squad bottom half. Almost couldn't do it if you tried !!

It,s great that blue noses are starting to look at the bigger picture and and moving the bar higher now that we have the money to look at Tier 1 managers.
