We need a manager that would at least make the like of Stones or Lukaku at least consider there future could still be with us.
Would Koeman be that manager I'm not sure.
Emery a 3 time Europa League winner would be more tempting.
Moyes is a no.

Blimey. That aint too shabby, even if its a few million out.

I had to check this out, based on the link provided above http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-sevilla/alletransfers/verein/368

So by my quick calcs, he has spent £76.35M whilst taking in £149.75M over the past three seasons. In other words he has won three Europa Leagues whilst operating with a negative net spend of £73.4M over the same period.

Good recruiment plays a part and he's not the only person involved with that, but pretty impressive.

Bloomin hell that's impressive.

I appreciate the fact he answers it every time instead of just palming it off and linking a previous post.

Meant to link this, Sevilla's transfer history on TransferMarket: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-sevilla/alletransfers/verein/368

Emery loses his top players every year and rebuilds and somehow has continued success. Perfect to see what he can do with a bit of positive spend.
I wonder if the high turnover of players helps hm though, given afew people have mentioned he is very demanding physically of them, might help stop the squad burning out like Chelsea this year,

Emery has won 3 europa league titles with a Southampton type team, Koeman has won nothing. Pretty sure I read that was on a minus 147 milion net spend, correct me if I'm wrong. If that's the case I'm sure with a bit of money he could of challenged at the top and not just gone all out for the europa. Got to be no 1 choice for us without any doubt.

Yet unless he'd beat the RS in that last final nobody would have been talking about him...

He is the one I want don't get me wrong.
But, could he spend big money do you reckon ?

Whoever we get has a risk involved I know.

Probably because youd think his job was safe due to his achievements. I also have heard many talk about him. What's wrong with people talking about him though, he is a class act.

....it's an important factor, many thanks for posting that. I'm not sure if he works with a DoF at Sevilla but I would hope he has some say in who comes in. It's very encouraging he increases the value of players. I'm in.
