Emery still in the box seat as he has been made an offer by the club. Should be getting a response from him later today.

This news (and size of the offer!) seems to have stirred RK and his agent contacted Moshiri yesterday afternoon.

Out of interest, can the expected response and RK agent contact parts of this post be corroborated say by any form of media outlet?

It's common knowledge that Emerey and Koeman are favourites.

so when Koeman was our no 1 target all the media were reporting it was unrealistic and it would be a backwards step for him and why would he leave Southampton to come to us. We now look like we're getting a highly sought after manager considered to be the next big thing and one of the best DoF's in the business and suddenly the media can't link us with Ronald enough.

I want to believe the roley poley moley but I cant help checking everyone of his posts to see if the esk has liked it or not.

Koeman is a good manager, some of you need to remember that, working on tight budgets at Soton, gets his best players sold and still builds a team that gets into Europe, 2nd only to Leicester in points this year, beat all the top teams atleast once this season.

Emery, Koeman, it's all a distinct upgrade on Brown Shoes.
