Appreciate he has a patchy managerial record prior to going to Southampton. However it is undeniable he has been an outstanding success given how that club has been run, he's really succeeded way beyond the level of support he received from his board.
He's clearly destined for big things in the future (hopefully with Everton for the next few years). He's intelligent, a good man manager and carries a huge pedigree as a footballer. I'm sure he's convinced Moshiri that he can buy into and contribute hugely to the development plan that Moshiri has for the club. It has the potential to be the start of a dynasty particularly if we have Monchi alongside as DoF.
Aside from the "super" managers and perhaps Emery, I believe we have the best and most suitable candidate for the job.
