Yep pretty much. All that setting up for a few hours so they can tell us what we heard a few days ago. Sounds like they're a bit behind. Suppose they couldn't report anything if it's not official from either club though. They just said there's a lot to be done before it's a done deal over the next 48 hours

I do agree with what you said, from looking the whole club was in a complete mess, players being taken to court, power struggles in the board room, very fractured, but its the job of a manager to try and shield the players from all that stuff.

From what I can see after a bit of a look it seems like the chairman at the time wanted rid of three veteran players and he sided with his boss and lost the squad. Though the quotes from players about his attitude during that period is a bit disconcerting.
