At least the Christmas games should be something to look forward to ?

Some people still believe in NSNO.

Whats latin for "Lets get a no mark whos won naff all"
Come on what do you expect. You have to step your way up here. This was a guy in the circles to be considered for the Man U job and potentially arsenal. We have to climb back up the table before we can get the best in the world. I am excited about Koeman and what he will bring. With the transfer cash, a DoF and a good owner things are looking up up up but yet you guys just want to keep poo pooing everything

I was lead to believe Moshiri had ' high aspirations ' for our next manager.

So we are hiring a manager who has won and achieved nothing in the Premier League.

Not for me.

Yet.

Every manager has a point in their career where they have won and achieved nothing - where else do you start? He took Soton into the EL places with a negative spend. He's held in high regard by many as one for the future. He'll steady the ship at Everton - we're a right mess thanks to brown shoes. From there? We'll see what he can achieve.

So we're making a tier 3 manager one of the highest paid managers in world football to bring us to where we were 3 years ago?. Sigh.

It was only 2 years ago!!! That Martinez went over to Brazil thinking he had made it in World Football after finishing 5th with us on 72 points (The highest points tally without getting a top 4 spot in EPL ever, everton that)....Maybe thoughts in his mind managing Barca within 5 years. So he decided to bizarrely become a commentator in Brazil instead of planning for next season. Beginning of the end for him.

Surely you have to give him a chance - your pulling him down and he hasn't even walked in yet.

Hes not an Everton manager, I can say what I like till he signs, then, as with every single Everton manager, I will support him, until such time I deem him unworthy of my support.

I didnt want Martinez, from before he signed for us, but when he signed I supported him, until the West Ham game, then he was persona non grata for me, so im ok with supporting somebody I never wanted, but my god hes getting it till then!

Fair enough. What other top manager could we attract having finished 11th for 2 successive seasons?

He's not a 'top manager'.

Seems like we have 'missed' out on Jose or Emery and have gone for the only choice we had left. No doubt it will be claimed it was his number 1 choice.

I'm just saying if we have high aspirations we should seek to achieve them. I'm not saying Koeman isn't a promising manager but for us?

My own personal choice has been Emery for about 7 years. I've said it on record here.
Koeman? Nah. Not for me sorry.
