Oh, do you mean after they have won the League?

Yeah, one League Title, that'd be worth the years of hardship that follows it

What we need is a manager who will cultivate the youth players so that we have PROLONGED success

Football fans really have no patience any more. That's one area that Davek was spot on

You really would throw it all away for one or two trophies

It's actually a bit sickening to be honest

No thought for future Evertonians that will follow on from you

Screw them though eh? You'll get to be fleetingly happy. That's all that matters at the end of the day

This is why wider issues like global warming are such an issue. People don't think about the future. They want what they want and they want it NOW, and damn the consequences!

Why are you so sure all this would happen? Jose, in any miracle he comes to Everton, would understand we are not in the finance league as Chelsea or City.
You don't rate him as good enough to build us from the ground up?

That was over 10 years ago at a club where he had no proper money to spend

How about him bringing back 72 year old Drogba during his last Chelsea run at the expense of a certain lad named Lukaku?

To be fair Mick, he put Lukaku in the Super Cup and some other games and he was chob.

And your man Loftus-Cheek has had far more chances under Mourinho than Hiddink now

If he does indeed become manager, we can revisit this thread in 4-5 years and I expect a lot of you will have changed your tunes when we're falling to pieces as our new manager tries to get all Jose's mercenaries off the wage bill while Ryan Ledson is tearing it up for another club

This post doesn't make any sense

Lukaku had to leave the club Jose managed to save his career

He was allowed to go on loan. Just like Barkley was, and it would be no surprise to see the two lads who come on today to go on loan as well. It will also be no surprise if they don't make the Everton grade, and they end up joining another club as a result. That's what happened to Lukaku. No big deal at all. It certainly didn't ruin his career did it?
