Funny how the Star today have quoted our top 3 as Pellegrini, De Boer and Koeman, only ignoring Mounriho. Wonder where they GOT that from.

*waves at reporter

No national paper will even approach linking us to Mourinho in anything but a piss take of us as a club ,mate, it doesn't fit their dual narrative of Mourinho to United - which every spotty clickbait writer is wetting themselves over and the image portrayed of us as a club on a par with Blackpool, Swansea and other none entities, one of the most amusing things will be as i suspect when we do employ a very respected and proven manager how the papers will manage to spin it to fit the image they seek to portray us in.

Portraying Everton as anything other than a smal club will have them spinning in circles, West Ham meanwhilst will be portrayed as a team who can for example become a new top 4 team, they have the correct profile - London club, media who love them etc, even though in comparative terms it is like comparing a three time former world champion in boxing to a guy who fought for the british title and lost badly once

Well I voted for Eddie Howe. I know it's not the most popular choice and he's hardly the big name we're craving. However, Keeping Bournemouth up this season despite injuries has been an unreal achievement and I'd imagine he's watched Everton a lot this season and has a good idea in his head as to what he'd change. Anyone else vote for him? Don't be mean now.

Jose
Pellegrini
AVB

Swerve De B, Moyes and Koeman.

On Koeman, whilst he has done a decent job at Soton... Has he done anything amazing there? His ability to keep them ticking despite sales is a huge positive but our new manager is potentially going to be given an open cheque book. Isn't this the fella who spunked 14mil on Shane Long?

He's good, but not good enough if/when we bin RM

Is Koeman just a Dutch version of Moyes ability wise would be my concern, IF he was an English manager or Scottish etc with his CV as a manager would any of us be overly keen on him

Thing myself De Boer has much more of an upside and as of yet anyway hasn't been found out like Koeman has been in some of his prior jobs (obviously easier to not be found out when you haven't gone outside of Holland ofc)

Mourinho and Pelligrini by a country mile over the various Dutch managers we have been linked too IMO

Agree with all of this.
Add AVB as the third choice it's almost like I'm a multi of yours...........

I hear what you're saying but if we look at Pochettino at Spurs and even Ranieri at Leicester it seems that it's not necessarily a huge name that's needed. And to be honest many of the other names that have been shouted out have under achieved in recent times and we need someone who can over achieve and quickly imho
