Ridiculous
I was born in 1955
I was there as an 11 year old in1966
I am as passionate now as I ever was
I am excited like that 11 year old boy at the potential mr Moshiri brings
I am fapping and windmilling all over house at the possibility of Mourinho and a fantastic new stadium and a £100 million player budget
Why on earth would you paint us all as small time mentality .... How dare you

I only meant it as a tongue in cheek remark mate and a bit of a joke at my da's expense.

Certainly not saying all older evertonians are small time or anything like that. Just have found it funny at some of the shouts I've heard from older lads I know over the last few days.

But apologies mate for the offence. Certainly none intended.

People who know a heck of a lot more than me or you are saying he initiated contact with us and discussions have continued.

That is good enough for me.
Ive actually had an indication from someone close to the club that would support my assumption that Mourinho is not on the list of possibilities

my dad is 72 and he is more enthusiastic and animated than a lot of younger blues i know especially when we score. He is constantly on at me about how excited he is for the club and the future, hes seen highs and lows and all i get is we need the right manager in and were on the way back.

I cannot believe some fans want Moyes back. This is the "settling for mediocrity" some fans were talking about. Why would we go back for Moyes. Yea he was a good manager for us when our transfer budget was peanuts, but we need to wake up and realise our potential or we will be stuck will being semi finalist for a decade.

Ok, I didn't like everything about Moyes but even you admit he was a good manager when our budget was peanuts. By that logic shouldn't he be an even better manager with more money behind him? Wouldn't he play a more positive style of football if he had higher quality players?

I know some people will be thinking what about his time at Utd but he wasn't given a fair crack of the whip or enough time at United because he wasn't seen as a big name manager in the way LVG is. LVG has spent hundreds of millions and barely improved their positions, yet they're considering standing by him.
