Ok, I didn't like everything about Moyes but even you admit he was a good manager when our budget was peanuts. By that logic shouldn't he be an even better manager with more money behind him? Wouldn't he play a more positive style of football if he had higher quality players?

I know some people will be thinking what about his time at Utd but he wasn't given a fair crack of the whip or enough time at United because he wasn't seen as a big name manager in the way LVG is. LVG has spent hundreds of millions and barely improved their positions, yet they're considering standing by him.

He is not a winner. Never will be in a top league. Would win a Celtic...but I could win a Celtic really.

Well God knows what kind of Sh*** the Sunday papers are going to be churning out in a few hours.......... they'll probably have us linked with Blatter as our new DoF lol

Ive actually had an indication from someone close to the club that would support my assumption that Mourinho is not on the list of possibilities

...your someone close to the club is simply not as close to the club as they indicate to you in relation to their closeness to the club then because if they were closer to the club then that sort of closeness would enable them to flop on the sort of whisper that would say....

'Here, here...the game's changed young BULLENS, we cannot have a list without the best a'top of it can we now, else what would be the point of such a list if one's intention is to aim high whilst shooting in the middle...'

Yep. They'd almost deffo say something like that...

;)

I agree in the main mate - I think there's a lot of revisionism in this thread about the job Moyes did. I think it's better to look forward rather than take the safe route in appointing Moyes, and although I can understand and share in the thought that he soured his time at Everton by the way he acted at the end - people pretending he is an awful manager doesn't reflect the reality of his time at the club.

He's not an awful manager, he's a decent above average manager but that is it. One thing he's not is a top manager and a winner.

You can't be serious moyes. Sorry pal, but anyone who wants moyes back had got no ambition as far as I'm concerned

I agree myself in part but if the names linked like O'Neill, hughes and Howe are true I would deffo have Moyes over any of them. We just have to hope none of them are true and just papers filling space.
