Except, ya know, nobody can sign any players until July 1st and loads of the squad will be on holiday or at a major summer tournament in June.

And in the 5% chance he doesn't go there, it's by no means guaranteed he'd come here.

Once you factor those two things, the chances are slim. Not Leicester winning the league slim but high enough odds slim.

I think the ambition is good. I just think it's a bit misguided in this instance.

I wouldn't do it to yourselves. Otherwise it'll be like being gutted your 100-1 shot didn't win the national.

United will get Pocchetino next year.. They don't want Mourihno.
 
It's likely he wants to go to Utd.

BUT, If he came to Everton and turned us around, given everything he's already achieved, he'd probably cement his place as the greatest manager of all time.

If he goes to Utd he'd need to win a lot of titles to be considered better than Fergie.

There seems to be more than a bit of indecision amongst the Utd hierarchy so there could be an opportunity here...

Sure but you need to identify your targets and communicate with the agents before that. Anyway, the future looks bright under Mr Moshiri.
