I reckon the damage Martinez has wrought (i.e wigatonisation), demands that a manager with proven PL experience takes the helm. I am not at all as sanguine as some here who think we can just easily shrug off Martinez's debasement of our playing talents.
The new manager has a tough row to hoe in a League that is the world's toughest.

I was just thinking yesterday how things have changed since January. We have gone from the gushing BK/Roberto lovefest combination to now sitting here discussing a possible FM/JM combination.

How things can change in a few short months.

I would be totally shocked by a Mourinho appointment. How do you keep him happy? Would he last three years with us? Koeman would be a astute hire he has a eye for talent even in a revolving door environment.

Frankly it's not about keeping him happy. Managers rarely stay long...Martinez I think was the second or third longest tenured manager in the Premier League when he was let go.

He's a better manager than De Boer or Koeman though. Had a lot more success in his career

I think he would be a smart hire if the fans can take the pragmatic approach
