His spend in the summer was 18mil. He had them where they are with a total squad worth around 40 mil.
The additional 16 or so he's spent this window haven't added any value to the squad yet so shouldn't be counted for or against their standing.

Sound mate, you rate the fella, I personally dont, hes doing a decent job at a crap club and hes a blue, but its a no from me.

Fair enough. I'm just not able to comprehend how we sit where we do in a year as open as this with a squad as talented as we have. 12th is a joke, and I think there are several managers out there who would have us higher in the table. We shouldn't be grasping at every manager out there, but the fact that we're even having the discussion about the Howe possibility says enough. I'd prefer someone else too, but he seems a decent manager, especially considering his crap squad.

I can put rivalries aside for the good of the club.

Its half the reason why this club is failing; either accept mediocrity or obsessed with Liverpool.

Who cares; its a profession and hes one of the best.
