He's utter pony. His interviews alone are off putting. He's like an identikit young manager saying all the 'right' things. A drone with zero creativity...like one of those kids that came through Lilleshall...professional attitude and rubbish performance.

Yet Martinez is a delight to listen to I assume...

he was in his first season though wasn't he? Funny that. Maybe a bit of consistency is needed...and a huge chunk of loyalty. Not that I'd expect it off the fickle.

Fully agreed. Martinez does need consistency in his performances, beyond being consistently awful.

But yes, I know I know, "away from home", "leaders on the pitch", "bedwetters" and so on.

I actually don't mind the fella to be honest, but we have done "up and coming" manager - if, and its a very big if, we are in the position to recruit a new manager soon - this is the type of manager we should steer clear of.

Thought i do find it funny you say his interviews are off putting when some of the waffle martinez comes out with lately is on another planet (of madness) in comparison.

Looks like Newcastle are about to get Rafael Benitez - think Everton should go for him!

Would def be an improvement - he's won trophies - perfect timing with the new money coming in and to boost the team in the run in / hopefully help retain players going into next season

It's almost certain Jose ends up at Utd, but I'd guarantee we'll have a word with him/agent before he joins them. He might fancy it, you never know. If not him then the get the best and I hope Moshy would be of that opinion.
