The main problem with the media and pundits is that they dont do any research, they all seem to think Kenwright has 50.1% and is in charge of the club still. Even those so called EX players think Kenwrights still in charge, which we all know isnt true.

Im pritty sure Sky are going to offer Utd money to make Mourinho as their manager as they seem obsessed with it.
Like the story yesterday saying he can have the Utd job but had no quotes no sources and waffled about info from 2 months ago. Man U stock is falling and they arnt the team they use to be and Sky want to relight that fire so they have sn excuse to show them EVERY weekend.

As for us, are we going to get Jose? I really dont no but if we dont it will feel like losing in the last minute again.

To be honest mate, the media's (not that am arsed anyways) opinion is that bad of us that they think it would be a shock if we got Koeman.

I think there is so much going on behind the scenes to make a splash and show we aren't "plucky little everton" anymore, realistically Mourinho would be the one to make the world go "oh my god everton are back"... however i think a good appointment and some good signings we will shock a few people.

That being said, i am currently in the chair getting Mourinhos grid tattood on my chest with EFC on his fod... if he doesnt come, i might have to sell the pictures.
At the moment just get his hair, if he doesn't come you may be able to work in the new managers face.

Da meeja have got in in fer uz. Dey don't even fink we're getting Mourinho.

Dey aven gorra clue. Must be a conspiracee

Apart from the standout (Jose, of course) the rest seem to me to be much of a muchness.

Th key thing in trying to ensure progress ill be the Club changing its expectations of a manager from "Let's give it a go but at all costs, stay up," to "These are your targets. Meet them or your out."

Just had a little read of redcafe.

No way on Gods Earth does LVG not get sacked IMO.

The Jose dream is over, changed my vote to FDB.
There is a big difference between Everton and Man Utd. Everton fans have a say on the manager. If we all go on a forum and say we want rid of him the club listens. Man Utd is a global corporation. They are interested in making money and having a big name coach. The match-going fans opinion is secondary to that of sponsors, major shareholders etc who know nothing about football. So in short although "proper" man utd fans want rid of Van Gaal, he is not necessarily going to get sacked.

If that was the case, and I highly doubt the Everton board surf forums and base their operational decisions on the fans whims by the way, surely you don't get a bigger name in management than Mourinho? Ergo: United will sack Van Gaal and get him in.

That really isn't true at all mate.

Bobby got the sack because we were crap and the atmosphere had got toxic at Goodison. most importantly the players had lost faith.

It has got nothing to do with fans on a forum.

Ok maybe I phrased it wrong. The fans made the atmosphere toxic, and that in turn affected the players and the board and the manager went. At Old Trafford the crowd are impatient and angry, but the team still has a decent home record and the board are by no means certain to sack the manager.
