Carragher would love the mediocrity of a Moyes return. At least a public figure is on record as pointing out that there is significant animosity toward Moyes coming back. Reading and hearing too much nonsense about how we all want him back.

There was nothing mediocre about finishing 4567 with no money on a regular basis, right now with money we are below mediocrity and have been for years.

Carragher is right in the sense that we have not had a manager with passion since Moyes, a manager who gets after teams and gets Goodison rocking, we have had fashionable managers who try and pop it about but it makes for a really flat matchday atmosphere.

We need passion and tempo and to stop thinking we are Barca because at this minute we simply don't have enough quality to break teams down trying to play total football.

Does any of the above mean I want Moyes? Not necessarily which is mainly due to how he spoke about us while at United, what I do want tho is the passion and tempo.

The top three candidates on sky bet are pretty underwhelming.David Moyes Eddie Howe or Mikel Arteta. We need to move on from Moyes imo.Eddie Howe has done great stuff at Bournemouth, while Arteta has no managerial experience, but is Guardiolas number 2 at City.Really out of the most realistic candidates, i'm very much undecided.Should we go with the solid proven and perhaps boring option in Eddie Howe, or take the gamble on Mikel Arteta?Perhaps Arteta with someone like Wenger as advisor could work.Personally myself, i think the board should put all the cards on the table, and try and get Pochetino.

At the very least we need to be contacting pochettino and seeing if he'd consider a big money contract and funds to transform the squad.
He got spurs challenging for the league and to the cl final.
He also got a Southampton side constantly selling it's best players , to punch above their weight

Can it get any worse...... Sky Sports pundit Darren Bent has called for Everton to fire Marco Silva and bring Sam Allardyce back to Goodison Park to add the defensive know-how missing with the Portuguese in charge.
