Normally I’d say he’d have no chance but looking at who our board employ it wouldn’t surprise me.Mark Hughes is evens favourite with a couple of bookies to be next manager , I think I'd rather keep Silva ..

You reckon?
I don’t want him but I think it’ll be Eddie Howe.
That's why we are in the position we are now. Sustained mediocrity from the chairman down over the last 3 decades. Moyes outstayed his tenure by years and since then the procession of abysmal losers has continued. If he comes back which I think is highly unlikely, it's a totally backward step and just maintains our "happy to be average in the prem" attitude. "Ticks a lot of boxes"..….which ones? Would be a terrible appointment.I actually think Moyes would be a great appointment. Loves the club. Best manager we’ve had in a long while. Something to prove.
Ticks a lot of boxes, if not all of them. Would still be an unpopular choice with many too.
Not sure we’ll get a manager that doesn’t divide opinion anyway.
Have you ever even seen Artetea on the training field, he does a lot more than just put out cones as you put it, he gets involved in all the training. Everybody has to start somewhere, perhaps you would prefer the experience of Allardyce or maybe Koeman or even keep Silva lots of experience there. Until he has been tried don't write him off, after all its only for 2 year to start with and anyway he may well prove you wrong. I also do not do sentimentalityAm genuinely amazed that people think arteta is the answer. A bloke with zero managerial experience. The basis for this opinion is that he spent some time with pep putting out cones and looking bored on the city bench.
last thing we need is a complete gamble like that based purely on sentimentality.

Everton are not in a position to offer apprentice managers start ups.Have you ever even seen Artetea on the training field, he does a lot more than just put out cones as you put it, he gets involved in all the training. The dream team for me would be Arteta and Cahill.
I don’t think the board would be progressive enough to take the risk though.
Moyes or Hughes would the boards choice.
Whatever though, it’s clear that Silva needs to be sent packing.
May as well slit my wrists.
Arteta totally unproven as a manager and Cahill has done even less.
Moyes and Hughes are losers. Plus the way in which Moyes left should never be forgotten.
Please name one who we could get.
