I think a huge amount of it is the owners being terrified of becoming the Lions and believing the Vikings can win now however I can’t justify that trade. Even if they trade back into the first they’ve lost. You only make that trade if you get Detroits first for next year.

I'll defend them on this. They shouldn't have traded up as far as they needed to to get a receiver and by the time they picked basically every reasonable pick was gone. Sometimes that happens. All in the game

If you’re targeting a safety, just stay at 12 and take Hamilton. Cine is a good player but it’s such a strange move.

I think judging by how long they took to make the final pick they were trying to trade it and couldn’t get what they wanted so they panicked. Something they wouldn’t have had to do had they not have been fleeced when they traded down earlier. Bizarre.
