I'll defend them on this. They shouldn't have traded up as far as they needed to to get a receiver and by the time they picked basically every reasonable pick was gone. Sometimes that happens. All in the game
There are still some very good receivers left on the board…Moore, Watkins, Pickens, bell, metchie. They’ll get one in the second round. My favorite player in the draft is wandale Robinson. Transferred from Nebraska to Kentucky. Guy will probably go in the third or fourth round and be a steal. He’s a little bit like Tyler Lockett but a little more gadget to him. Gonna make someone look very smart when they draft him.

I remember Robinson from their bowl game. He's electric.

So the Vikings draft a safety when they could’ve just had Kyle Hamilton at 12. More Everton than Everton.
I'm happy the Steelers took Pickett, who w/ a year or 2 of exp is gonna be good. Pitt was never stacked on offense and he carried them.

However even tho he wasn't a big need I wanted Cine. He is IMO the best player in the draft. You watch for all of 5 min and you are like the @#$% is that guy? I think he could be the next Polamulu, a big play wild card on D. Dude just blows stuff up. He's better than Hamilton, and I like Hamilton.

Jets picked up some talent last night.

I honestly thought the Bills would trade up to try and get 2 picks, but moving up to get Elam is a great move considering how many CBs had already gone, couldn’t risk losing him.

There’s still some talent to come in the 2nd round as well. Surprised Pickett was the only QB to go and was only taken at 20 overall.

Yeah he’s a really nice player but I think we could’ve taken Someone at 12 and traded up in the second, it’s like they hit the panic button once Stingley and Gardner were gone which worries me

Maybe Stingley could have slid but no way Gardner was (Gardner was my 2nd fav player in the draft).

you probably could have gotten more from the Lions but I don't think there is much difference between rounds 1-2 this year, you are better off just trying to get picks. I mean 6 WRs went early, and not one of them I'm really crazy about. A guy went No.1 on just athletic ability, Hutchinson is a solid player who will hover around 10 sacks/year and he's No.2. Cine is so freaking good and you got an extra pick out of it.

Yeah there was talk that if Gardner slipped a bit we would’ve traded up but that was obviously very unlikely.

I liked Williams and Hamilton although I totally get not drafting a safety at 12. We’ll see what happens but when we accumulate draft picks it usually tends to end in disaster!

They need receivers more than every other position. The D was already strong but you won't go deep in the playoffs with Lazard Cobb and Watkins

If the players aren't there to draft then they should have offered the picks for a veteran.

They may as well have traded Rodgers if they dont want to give him anyone to catch the ball.

Chiefs got good value in McDuffie and the Greek guy. Both could have been top 15 picks and no one would have batted an eylelid.

I am desperate for Pickens in the 2nd round, even if it means trading up.

As a Jets fan, I couldn’t be any happier with that.

We got three studs and only gave up a second and a third to do it.

But remember when Everton won the transfer market? Long way to go here.

Some decent picks in the later rounds. Makes sense to beef up a just ok defence. I hope to hell they are planning to completely rebuild the special teams catastrophe from last season as well.

They have usually been decent at drafting WRs in the mid rounds of the draft, but they need someone who can make immediate impact and that's tough. They may have to let one or two go on defence to allow cap space to go after a free agent receiver. Beckham is the obvious one to go for, but his injury is the big unknown. If he's going to miss half of next season, it might not make sense. I don't really know if there are good options available in the draft, but a catching tight end is pretty important too.

Special teams can't really be much worse, so the only way is up. I think they should definitely look for a return specialist late on tomorrow.

Agree with all that. I suspect that they have a trade in mind which is why Rogers seems so relaxed with what’s happened so far. Yes

Bears are sitting in a good position to trade back with 1 or both their 2nd round picks and still get a good receiver, not really hard to improve the WR room considering the only really have mooney and pringle.
Hoping for a run on the QBs early in the 2nd
