The big mistake today was not getting a possession at the end of the half. Going in with two TOs is inexcusable when you’re kicking off. That aside I’m not sure what he was meant to do. Early on they dominated up front and he did well with it. McCaffrey fumbled to kill a drive. He adjusted as they stopped being able to run. He found ways to manufacture drives. His QB was overmatched and couldn’t give him anything. His defense got too conservative late. He can only do so much. Unfortunately not his day again.

And what a glorious morning it is.

We’ve witnessed the footballing equivalent of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in Patrick Mahomes these last few years.

He is so far above ANY quarterback that has ever played the game.

I would now go further and say he is the greatest player that has ever played at any position.

Let’s not forget that Brady lost to Nick Foles and Eli Manning a total of 3 times.
 
Just curious. I know there are many Brits who have become genuine nfl fans, just as I now follow the PL closely from the States.

Did any of youze stay up to watch this? 1:00 am start time, yes?

Hell of a game. First half was a bit dull but all credit to both defenses for that. Second half and OT were fantastic.

* Incredible the nonsense spoken and written about a perfectly fit athlete who isn't chiseled like some roid freak. No wonder body image has become a serious mental health issue.

Did the commentators mention why Kelce bumped and shouted in Andy Reid’s face? The SB party I was at was very loud and I couldn’t hear much of the commentary
 

My one big takeaway from last night: I'm actually not convinced Mahomes will win another Superbowl. Well, he might get one more, but his career trajectory starting to look the oppositie of Brady's. Started out as a great player capable of changing a game single handedly, but now looks like the first era of Tom, doing just enough. My guess is Reid will try for the three-peat next year, fail, and retire, as will Kelce and it will all be over. Shouldn't detract from the fact that he is the second best quarterback who ever lived

I can't remember if they said it on the broadcast or i read on twitter or something, but Kelce was mad he wasn't on the field for the play Pacheco fumbled on. Much ado about nothing
