Always was a Patrica fan as the Pats DC. Had some fun, tough defences - especially recently with the Revis Super Bowl winning team.
Always assumed he would be the heir to the throne and McDaniels would, hopefully, go elsewhere again and ultimately fail. How far wrong that looks to be. Yikes.
The one thing Matty P always had though was that it took a few weeks for that 'bend and don't break' defence from the past couple of years to rear it's head. However, that was with much better players than he's working with now. He also doesn't have the ability to have his defence sit for 10 minutes whilst 12 carves up a team on his way to a scoring drive.
He might figure it out. I think he will. But it'll be extremly tough.
