I agree, KC wasn't the best team on the entirety of last season and NE certainly wasn't the year before that. I'd actually say if any of these four teams won you'd have a pretty strong champion which isn't always the case.
Not sure I do agree.

Look at the final 4 teams now and what do they have in common? The 4 best qb’s this season. And it’s almost always the case that the elite qb’s win Super Bowls irrespective of the team around them.

The only exception I can think of this recently was Philly with Foles.

So while as a team the Saints are better than the Bucs, Brady is the better QB than Brees so the result wasn’t a surprise to me.

For me to win a Super Bowl you must have a top 5 qb at a minimum. Possibly top 3.

One of the top 2 seeds from the conferences always wins the superbowl, ravens in 2013 last time it didn't happen I think

The Eagles won the Super Bowl with a combo of Wentz and Foles 3 flipping years ago mate. Not to mention Goff and Garoppolo played in it the two years after.

Before that you've got Noodle arm Peyton, Wilson before he really took off, Joe Flacco and Eli twice!

Yes but that doesn't mean they're always the best team. I mean NE was not nearly as good as KC or NO in 2018 is a good example of how that can happen.

Depends how you look at, they were top seeds for a reason, though obviously being in afc East helped.
That easy ride looks over

All I'm saying is there can still be a gap. I mean Chelsea finished third in the PL last year right, but if the PL went to single elimination playoffs and they won it we wouldn't think the best team was champion.

There's no solution for that in the NFL as the sport requires a system like this but it is just a thing that happens in this system.

I’m expecting a Packers Chiefs Super Bowl which would be a genuine toss up in my book.

The Packers pose a far more substantial threat to the Chiefs than the Bills, who have nothing beyond Allen/Diggs.

Since 2000 other than those mentioned, here are the rest of them.... ( from memory in no particular order)
Trent Diller, Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Rex Grossman, Matt Ryan, Jake Delhomme, Donovan McNab, Big Ben and Kerry Collins.

Although some of them are good none I reckon are considered elite.

Another fine example of Kev's glory hunting support of the Chiefs, no doubt since Mahommes took charge and lack of knowledge of the NFL haha!

You probably can't count Cam or Matt Ryan as they were both MVPs in the seasons they made the Super Bowl.

In fact Matt Ryan and Garoppolo are the perfect examples of how much coaching matters as neither have any chance without Kyle Shanahan's offense. But once you put him in the mix both can play way above their level otherwise.

Mahomes is great there is no disputing that, but I think it is misreading it to think that Reid isn't playing a massive part in it and beyond that having Hill and Kelce isn't a huge help as well. They aren't this team without any of the parts.

Agreed 100%

On all of it.

I said win the Super Bowl not appear in it - you’ve added 6 names of losers there to make it look like your point has substance - a shame you are answering the wrong question !

As above I’m not sure what bringing the names of Ryan and Jimmy G into a discussion about winning Super Bowl QBs has to do with anything I said?

Given that i gave you 11 names and BigIguana gave you the other two that still makes your point invalid.

Less than 50% off them are elite. If you take away multiple winners since 2000.

Your overall point is invalid to begin with because it is flawed. Many off those "elites" you mention don't make the superbowl at the same time.

Sorry but you are a fraud when it comes to the NFL. You knowledge and grasp is so poor. Yet you are so arrogant.

The fact you pick winners based on what Vegas tells you says it all.

Funny how you limit people from looking up your profile and previous posts. I bet we will find that you only started posting about the NFL after Mahomes started doing well.
