Your overall point is invalid to begin with because it is flawed. Many off those "elites" you mention don't make the superbowl at the same time.

The fact you pick winners based on what Vegas tells you says it all.

Funny how you limit people from looking up your profile and previous posts. I bet we will find that you only started posting about the NFL after Mahomes started doing well.

Why should you take away multiple winners - because it supports my point ? You are still trying to use losers to justify a point as well!

I’ve supported the Chiefs since the Schottenheimer days so no I’m not a newcomer. It’s hard not come off as arrogant when they win every week and all I hear is teams saying how they have a chance against us when they really dont.

The reason I look to Vegas is because most people who make predictions are not coming from a neutral perspective - they make their picks on who their favourite teams/players are. Vegas are pros who will at least have a dispassionate viewpoint so it’s a good way of demonstrating objectivity.

Sorry... even if it should have said.

You miss the point. If only elite QB win how come so many of them that make are not. Hence you have to include who they face.

There have been many winners who were not elite. At least 6 or 7 in the last 20 years have not been. One of them have won twice. What I was saying is very few QBs have won it. If you count actual people you will see not all are elite. That aside sure add the multiple winners back in and its still not clear cut.

Someone once said on here that many of the modern QB are only as good as their teams schemes. On that list with the exception of the obvious 4 or 5 guys tbe rest are clearly that.

Also the very fact there is what two QBs who have won more than most. Qb's who where up against opponents who where not blessed with an elite QB on those occasions that you point is not entirely solid.

Also sure Vegas are pros but they are wrong more times than they are right. See my post yesterday. Relying on their data as opposed to studying it yourself or listening to various experts and you are doing yourself a disservice

Its not about being wrong or right, (although I am sure they have at least as good a strike rate as any of the guessers here), its about independence of thought.

That's the reason I refer to Vegas odds to this board in particular, because at least they are impartial. You only have to look through the comments during the divisional game to show how partisan everyone becomes - several posters wishing Mahomes injured for example.

Frankly over the last 2 years if I had blindly backed the Chiefs due to homerism, I would have been proved right on basically every occassion anyway, but I think its important to give an independent viewpoint.
 
Hopefully, we’ll get two good games over the weekend. I can’t remember another season in which I could see any of the four remaining teams win the Super Bowl. No overwhelming favorites.
 

Bills fans terrified of having to face Mahomes and crying ‘fix’ have very short memories.

Josh Allen was concussed against the Pats in week 4 last year. He was listed as questionable all week, limited in practice until that Friday.

And then played against the Titans in week 5.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen's status for Sunday is unclear. He remains in the concussion protocol but coach Sean McDermott said he'd be comfortable starting him if clears before Sunday's game.

Good week for the Chiefs so far. Not only has Mahomes practiced but CEH and Sammy Watkins as well. Looks like Mahomes will have a full arsenal on Sunday.

Apparently Allen doesnt play well in bad weather, which is why the Chiefs beat him last time.

The weather in Kansas City on Sunday isnt great....kcweathersunday.webp
