yeah I've just read about that on NFL uk forum . A game in Berlin interests me a lot . I'd be up for a bit of that . The Mexico one would be great .

They based on that article, the NFL game in Berlin has been put in the bin. They've went with Mexico, and that's how it'll last.

I expect a reduction of games in london next year also.

I read the forum not the article mate . It's all guessing games on there . I still think there will be 3 in London for quite some time

I just got a general vibe of 'Can't be arsed' from the back-to-back, as a scouser, I probably will not renew next year, it's fun, but that back to back trip on a sunday is very heavy indeed.

How hard is it these days to make a new NFL team?

Put it this way.... If the NFL wants to expand to make a UK franchise for example, how many British fans would stop supporting the team theyve supported for years? Not many. It would and will fail.

As for relocation, expect big things this upcoming winter, with the rumours of a San Diego and St. Louis move to LA, with the possibility of the Raiders going to St. Louis. NFL are clambering for an NFL team in the nations second biggest City, and by far largest with out. I think theyve waived the 'purchase' fee, from St. Louis have they not?

don't you think money would play a factor if it were to be possible. Look at NYFC for example being backed up by Manchester City and the Yankees. I understand NFL teams don't pop out out of air. But perhaps, pick a city with a strong football history (College etc) and start buying and recruiting.

NFL stadiums are massive though...it seems like a huge feat

It doesn't work that way. The league would first want to expand and then ownership groups would have to make a bid.

The NFL does not want to expand beyond 32 teams for the foreseeable future

This. It's making money hand over fist (at least for the forseeable future) and there is no new market penetration outside of Los Angeles, which does well enough for a town without a football team. I think a 64-team NCAA super league is more likely than any NFL expansion.

For the record, I really enjoy seeing the Rams in their old uniforms

And these Green Bay throwbacks are really sharp

But these Steelers unis can do one

Yeah, US Sports don't work like that, infact, I could be a Multi-Millionaire and buy a team and relocate them to Alaska if i could prove that the NFL would make money. NFL is a money making machine, so you'd need an owner willing to sell and the NFL agree to the move i.e. You couldn't just buy the Packers and move them to somewhere like New York where there would be little appeal due to other teams being there, or move them to somewhere like Boise, which would be disasterous.

Money of course plays a factor, but only in effectively buying the opportunity to relocate, and on the NFL's terms, hence why they are willing to wave it in case of the Rams/Raiders/Chargers, because they're so desperate for an LA franchise.

MLB, are looking into a possible introduction of 2 more teams to make all leagues similar to the NFL, however if you're looking at being a fan of a new NFL franchise, don't be thinking it's going to be anywhere but LA or San Antonio.

Just move the Raiders to Newcastle and be done with it.
