Anyway, regardless - £5m for a striker who has scored 7 goals in the last 15 months, the last being in March, is very good business.

So if we paid 2.5 to Rangers then 2.5 installments then sell to QPR for 3.5 and 1.5 in installments that's good business.

Whether it was in installments or not we'd still be giving them more than £2.5m. It's not like wer're making a profit.

That does sound quite ridiculous. He played quite regularly last season and only scored 7 goals, with none scored in the last 2 months of the season. He probably should have been sold in the summer. He's only been featured on the bench and come on a few times because Kone got injured. Kone would have been ahead of him in the pecking order, similar to how Alcaraz is ahead of Heitinga.

Tbh it's more like 3-3.5mil because when rangers fc went into administration they would of called all outstanding debts in and renegotiated them so instead of 2.5 on the drip we would of payed like 0.5-1mil up front.

Jelavic is done for us! Time for both to move on. We need a striker who can come off the bench and be a able option to replace lakaku and challange his place. Ideally he's the signing who can replace lakaku next season!

Finding a striker to challange and then replace Lakaku next season will cost at least 20million, Poor Bill would have a fit spending that sort of cash.
