Selling Jelavic without a replacement isn't really leaving us short of another striker. The feller is worse than useless anyway.

There surely must be a case for playing one of the kids like Long before handing another appearance to that dead loss?

I Have always thought some evertonians are hung up on players to the point of always support them no matter what.

Jelavic has not scored this calender year yet some people don't want to see him go? genuine question, all this we have only got one striker......what difference would it make if hibbert or oviedo were played as back ups to lukaku? they would probably score the same amount as jelavic! But seriously we have vellios, long, naismith, mirallas who can all play up front so we arent leaving ourselves short.

Some fans just need to admit when a player is crap rather than act like he is misunderstood / out of form / just needs a confidence boost.

my take on jelavic, I think it was luck. The ball kept landing to him and he kept putting it in which got him buzzing. As soon as the ball stopped falling perfectly for him he stopped scoring, then eventually stopped being able to shoot properly.

You know what I mean Dave. I think it probably goes without saying Martinez will have a replacement in his sights I hope. This means we need two strikers now too.

Why do you feel sorry for him? He's picked up £40k per week for the last year without even coming close to succeeding in doing what he's paid to do. He should feel sorry for us knowing that if we did a job as **** as him we'd of been sacked months ago.
