Only if it's ever re-invested... I'm wary of a journeyman from Europe for £5m and we'll never see the Anichebe money as it's devoured whole by the monster known as Other Operating Costs.

Again, I'm not writing him off, I'm saying I hope he comes back with a different attitude, as it was god-awful for every second of those six appearances.

Jelavic, to his credit, rarely stopped giving 100% regardless of his goalscoring form. Kone didn't break into a jog.

I'm a person who appreciates effort first and foremost. I don't appreciate players who come across like they're here on a holiday.

They'll have Sagbo run the dirty work and Jelavic will slot for them; they'll get 10+ a season from him in the Premier League and 15-20 in the Championship.

Thing is, I think they could have got him for £3-4m, but I equally think he could have went to a bigger club. So it's win win for everyone involved.

We're ripping them off if it's 3.5m. He's been unbelievably gash for about 18 months.

I'm counting his PL game time. It's the only indicator. That adds up to less than one match.

Not true. He hit post at least once , and had a few good touches .He didn´t even have time to settle before getting crocked. Lets face it lad if he does not pull his wieght he won´t get near the starting line up.
