I still cant believe how that Russian club paid big money for McGeady, tbh. I was astonished because he's another one trick pony who can be sorted out in a good league in pretty short order.

Whether you like the fella or not Dave, I don't see how not having pace has anything to do with any debate, I could list you 100 players who would stroll into this current Everton side and be great signings, current and former players who lack pace, and at the price mentioned I can't think of to many others we could attract who could possibly do a better job, I think your being quite harsh on him personally mate
 

Well, it's needed to be said that he never played full game for Croatia's national team, he is mainly used as a sub for them. Stats: 16 games/611 minutes/2 goals/1 assists. 38 mins per game, 306 mins per goal, 611 mins per assist.

For Rapid Wien these are his statistics: 95 games/5948 minutes/43 goals/17 assists. 63 mins per game, 138 mins per goal, 350 mins per assist.

And for Rangers: 56 games/4540 minutes/36 goals/15 assists. 81 mins per game, 126 mins per goal, 303 mins per assist.

For examplne Jermaine Beckford's stats in Leeds? 115 games/8873 minutes/71 goals/10 assists. 77 mins per game, 125 mins per goal, 888 mins per assist.

Austrian League/Scottish PL >>> League One. So statistically, he is better player than Beckford and he is 2 years younger than him. We sold Beckford for 3 million. If I take it this way, something like 5 million sounds like a good deal for me. :)

Just called my colleague at Finch Farm (he has been told by Dave Eaton) and he said the deal was all concluded at 3.30 between Everton and Rangers, also the players personal terms have been agreed. The medical is taking place tomorrow morning, he is being flown over to have the medical.
 
Well compare him to our main goal scorers Saha and howard, id take anyone...The price is gona be pretty low I reckon.
