The deal isnt done with Rangers although personal terms and the similar are all sorted. Always plenty of time for things to go wrong with Everton.

We have scouted this lad extensively from what i hear mate, even before he signed for Rangers and i believe he is high up on Moyes first pick list given the budget. Like i say id prefer him over the likes of Doyle, prob in the same price bracket.

I certainly wouldnt put it past Davey trying to turn him into Drogba like he does with all our strikers though.

Izaguirre I like. But it's a bit different for players who are required to shine upfriont down here. Ask striking sensation kenny Miller. As for Adam: he was punted by Rangers for disciplinary reasons more than anything else.

As I've maintained throughout: £3M = not a problem as a punt. Anything north of that is madness. We needed to spend scarce transfer money wisely and Moyes has blown the load on one roll of the dice striker.
