Which position do you think he's more effective in?

A few of us think an Attacking central midfield role but of course weve spent big on Sigurdsson...

I dont think he's ready to play central in this league, yet. You need someone like Siggy for that.

Play him as a narrow winger who likes to cut across the box. Something that Mirallas was doing.

Thought he looked decent, has a good step-in for making tackles, worked hard. If he had better ball control he would be hard to dispossess, similar to a young Dembele on Spurs.

Can't pin it on what exactly, but when watching the lad you just have the feeling gea going to develop into a very good player indeed over the next 2-3 years.

Him and Lookman both have potential to be the level of player we currently can't attract to the squad when the finished article.

I 100% agree and I hope the rumours or noises linking both with moves away are completely False

The thing about Vlasic that makes him look like he can develop into a good player is his physicality. There are a number of wingers with speed, which he has. There are a number that can finish, which he has shown he can do. But what many wingers lack is physical strength, and the grit to win hard fought balls like a good CM would. But Vlasic, maybe its from playing in Croatia has that grit and physical toughness to fight for balls, and win 50/50s in a way that translates well to the premier league. There are a lot of talented players that come to the league, but many fail in it because they cant handle its physical nature. To me he looks like he can handle it just fine.

He's fearless and so determined to show what he's made of. I was surprised that he was subbed in, and I was happy to see how he played. As others have mentioned, Vlašić and Lookman should be a joy to watch in the future. Really hope it's with us.

Allardyce said a week or two ago that he was going to sit down with all the players in a one to one with them, and find out if anyone wanted out.
The current situation makes me wonder if Vlasic has indicated he'd like to leave in January.
