..........chill, we dominated a game and got beat. Our neighbours have spent £150m in 2 seasons and we've spent buttons. We shouldn't be near them yet we remain above them. There is one key denominator here - investment. If we could go out and spend £20m on a player where we would be?
I hear the disulliansment, but for me we are where we are and we can't progress to the next level without money. By the way we still remain a decent side which I reckon is about as good as it gets.

the darkside put 10 past these, they are crap yet we still managed to give them 4 points and concede 3 goals in the last 5 minutes,,,no heart no killer instinct no belief, when we needed players we signed a kid, this team is dead on its feet and the manager dead on ideas, we will drop like a stone, lucky we had a good start eh, furious at the whole team the manager and the board

I really really hate the way we stop playing football when we are in the lead. We just start hoofing it, play deep and invite pressure on us until they score.

I agree 100%, we were shown glimpses in the 1st half of how played earlier on in the season, even Naismith looked good.
But as usual the 2nd half was a different story, keeping the intensity of passing throughout games has been a rarity this season.
Teams love scoring scrappy goals against us as well.

This was the last chance for us to get top 4. We are now well behind and we look set to loose out on Europa League as well now. Our form is terrible and the teams behind us will pass us in a few games now. Unfortunately I can see both Liverpool and West Bromwich passing us, possibly Swansea as well.

Moyes is telling the players that they have to step up.. so does he. He need to step up and either sign a new contract or come out and say that he's leaving in the summer. Yes, players should be professional enough to do their job. But playing for a manager that is sending out signals that he doesn't see this club having any future isn't exactly helping.

We should have strengthened in January, but consider this. Why should a player want to sign for a manager that has a contract that runs out and has gone out in papers stating that he will see how this season goes before possibly signing a new contract? It basically states that "You have a few months to show me what you can do. If you don't deliver I'm out and the next manager will take over and then you might not be needed at all."

We had a great chance to take top4, but Moyes and the board has squandered this chance. Moyes by refusing to show the players and the footballing community that he will continue to fight here, and the board by not coughing up more money to strengthen the team.

Some good points there, but thing is no reporter has the balls to say to Moyes its your turn to step up to the plate, and come clean about his future.

I'm with you mate, I'm trying to be positive and look forward to the FA cup, as this season looks like the best opportunity to win it.
The league ain't over yet, and teams can still **** up.

We still should have won today. They were turbo gash. I'm telling you, the RS would have put 3 or 4 past them today. Sure, you could say that's due to having £20m to spend on Suarex, but it didn't matter whether we had Jelavic up front or Suarez today: we wouldn't have added to the tally because we sat back.

Everton manager David Moyes: "We should have won the game. We were 1-0 up and in control and we let them get back into it and then they scored after the three minutes of injury time [that was scheduled to be played]. But we didn't do enough to get that second goal."

Telling a striker to work the left wing then taking said striker off for a winger in the 70th odd minute will just about do it

We were gonna spend "£12million" in january....

......disagree that we sat back. We dominated. The concern is that we dsidn't create and that is where £20m players make the difference.

Although I agree that it's extremely likey over there still a reasonably long way to go. Everyone wrote City off for the title last year and loko what happened.

At least we'll be playing with absolutely no pressure in the league now

As with anything, you never got the impression he really believed the team could get top 4 even though it was wide open
