Why do we invite pressure? When we're 1 nil up with 10 minutes to go, just keep possession. There is no need to hoof the ball and give the ball away. Along with shooting practice we need practice taking corners and defending them.
Extremely poor performance from the midfield today. Gibbo and Pienaar were decent but Osman and Naismith were passengers. You could see Gibbo and Pienaar trying to get into the game but nothing was coming off for them, which has been the same story for last few games. Naismith should only be used off the striker 'cause that is what he plays when he supposed to be RM. Didn't give Coleman any support on the wing. Felli did well to break up some play and hold possession but he needs to learn how to manmark or let someone else handle the more dangerous players on corners.

Really odd bench from Moyes. There wasn't a lot of options on it. Aside from Mirallas they were all defensive players. Having Barkley or Vellios would've at least given us something different. I'm a bit worried about Baines. He looked unfit, like he was sick or carrying a knock. He was slow and didn't get forward as much as usual. Coleman was great though, we've really missed him.

4th is gone, but we're still in for the cup and potentially Europa league. COYB

1) So is that Gibson's first loss as a starter?

2) Vellios, Barkley, & Oviedo have to be wondering what they have to do to get a match.

3) Good thing we won't qualify for Europe. This team would get smashed.

4) Could care less about whether we finish above the ****e or not. At least we know our place in the league while they laughably think their still top four material. They haven't been relevant in the Premier League in years and won't be for a long time.

5) Worst of all, I don't think ANY OF US were not only shocked by the result, but how it went down with Norwich scoring two in the last six minutes. I mean I just sat there and said "all too predictable."

6) For those of you unfamiliar with Kamara, he played a few seasons with Houston before signing on with KC. He's a good player and a good acquisition for Norwich.

7) Someone said earlier that Moyes ruins strikers and I hate to say it but I don't see any evidence to the contrary. Strikers often start well here before having an alarming drop in form, never to recover. Is it the system? Is it the players in support of the striker? Is it the service? I don't know but it's an alarming trend.

Oh, and what urgency is there for the players when they know they won't be dropped for these type of performances?

There's nothing there to light a fire under their asses.

Nothing.

....4th was never really on. It wont be without investment. Reality check - we could've spent £150m, be 3 points worst off and be out of the FA Cup. The main concern for me is that we no longer appear to be creating chances. Dominating but not creating. Saying that we can win the Cup.

Just back from norwich there isn't a single player in norwich starting 11 or Oldhams last week who would make our starting eleven yet we looked dire against both, time for Moyes to go and NOW. Gibson when he first game looked forward at every opportunity now he looks sideways or backwards another ruined by Moyes.

Commiserations from a Norwich fan.

Every time we win the opposition forums are full of fans wringing their hands in despair at losing to our cr@p side.
Don't beat yourselves up too much. We also beat ManU, Spurs and Arsenal, all teams above you, and Swansea, who will probably be above you by the end of the season.

We do normally lift our game against better sides, but were poor today. Fortunately your players decided to let us have a turn, and we showed them what a desire to win looks like.

Agree with many comments on Moyes though. Get rid - he's an embarrassment to your club with his post defeat interviews.

Hahaha nice username.

It seems other teams have sussed out our early season success with the following:

Closed down the Baines/Pienaar attack.
Fellaini hassled out of games.
Osman/Pienaar bullied off ball.

It leaves us with zero to offer up front and a drop in all-round confidence.

How many crosses did Baines get in today? I think it was one, which we scored from.

We need some new ideas.
