Not A Transfer Rumour..... Wayne Rooney

I would not begrudge any of our players moving on to better themselves, especially as they will not win anything while we have the current board in place here.

I do often wonder what would happen, lets say Rooney said "I want to go to Everton" and accepts 100k a week = £5 million a year.....even when Chelsea are offering £200k a week = £10 million.

This stops the agent earning the extra money, I can not see the agent being happy with that, and I'm sure he will do what it takes to get his % of the £10 Mil rather than £5 mil!!!

I suppose it all depends how powerfull the agent is, and weather he works for the player or the other way round.

That will answer your question..

You speak with authority. When did he tell you that?
.
Belief that Rooney could return to Everton is wishful, but not impossible, and offering an opinion on it isn't 'bleating'

Delusion is thinking you could charm Kate away from William.

You sound bitter. Like you're not having any luck getting laid.

I am a happily married man who occasionally watches porn. Does this count ?

I or anybody else shouldn't really have to ask Rooney if he does or doesn't want to return to Everton or not as it should be glaringly obvious to anyone remotely observant. Rooney is a product of modern football whereas some people on here actually believe that he is capable of the reverse and will forgo what he has become accustom too in order to simply slip the royal blue jersey which we all cherish back over his head. He isn't and it is plain foolish to believe he will.

I just skimmed this but if I got the gist of it right you're saying IT'S ON!

The problem with is there is a baddie who wont allow it to happen, the one and only Paul Streford who is his agent and trusted adviser. Stretford has been the target of death threats on Merseyside from Everton fans who blame him for persuading Rooney to leave the club he has supported since he was a child. Proactive said that they backed the decisions made by Stretford throughout the negotiations. "Wayne Rooney has been the subject of a great deal of speculation surrounding this transfer and much of it has been inaccurate and malicious in its content.
"Partly as a result, Paul Stretford and his family have received a number of threats from misguided individuals purporting to be football fans, details of which have been passed on to the police. We have to remember he is a money man and Manchester United paid football agent Paul Stretford up to £1.5m, the equivalent of over two years' wages for Wayne Rooney at Everton, for setting up the deal that saw the 18-year-old striker move to Old Trafford yesterday as the most expensive striker in English football. So he will be looking for a new payday for himself. We don't want this leech back at Finch Farm.

BadWool you chat some bad sh!te lad. I think its highly unlikely Rooney will come back, but if he's still at united when the transfer window shuts and he continues to throw his toys out the pram, then we can get him on a duckworth-lewis next summer, or something.

There's an awful lot wrong with that, but I can't be bothered explaining it to you.

Suffice to say, like most know-alls, you don't know very much.

Do shut up Jeff. Stop taking things so serious. I am not claiming to know it all, I am just poking fun at the situation. If you cannot fathom that out then I feel for you.

Look he is an Everton fan like us, he more than likely would love to play for us again. BUT the single most important fact is we cant afford him or his wages. we CANT offer him CL football. this is a non starter- completely.
