150% I despise Man united with every breath, they are not the biggest club in the world Everton are! Everton were the better team for 20 years before the premier league and will be again. You watch too much Sky TV.....
 
Can we get real for a second...he's pitching a fit at a club where he's won a ton of things and made a ton of money. I have a real hard time believing he gives an honest [Poor language removed] about Everton. Gotta' be a lonely life to be burning as many bridges as he has...rich of wallet, poor of heart.

if i an evertonian, had a chance to play for everton - i would not leave for no money, no chance.

Agree wholeheartedly, me and a load of mates would say the same. The problem is the footballers are obviously playing mostly throughout the teenage years say 13 to 18 so they do not build up the hopes, dreams, camaraderie of being an Evertonian, they do not remember watching an away game with their mates because they are with a youth team. Do not fool yourself into thinking Wayne Rooney would take even a £5 pay cut to move backwards to Everton, ever, it isn't going to happen.

They could pay him the difference via annual loyalty payments agreed as part of his signing on fee.

Make no bones about it, if Spurs sell Bale, they will easily be able to fund a move for Rooney. Whether he'd be in the slightest bit interested, is a different matter, but stranger things have happened.

With respect mate, that's easily said when you've not got that decision to make & you've not got agents & advisors spelling out how many more £m net you could guarantee yourself.

These lads are multi million pound businesses on 2 legs & they think like businesses at times, it's drilled into them by those who stand to take a cut of their 'turnover'. Sad but true.
 

Every two weeks or so I return and laugh at the deluded masses on this thread through the orgy of conjecture and spin that infest it. Wayne Rooney isn't really that bothered about playing for Everton ever again, the ship has sailed, gone over the horizon never to change tack and return. He is either going to stay at United or move and when he does it will NOT be to Everton Football Club, get over it. Instead of making up tales worthy of an episode of jackanory, get out and enjoy the summer. Get laid, blind drunk or both but whatever you do stop bleating on about something that is never going to happen

Those things aren't mutually exclusive ... how do you know we don't get drunk, get inside some poor lass and then get out the ipad and post a bunch of Rooney rumours mid-bang? Each to their own.
