just watching btsport and they showed rooney press conference from earlier today for england and the best part of it was this

"look at ross barkley and the way he is playing at everton. with the way everton play now under martinez compered to how they used to they have a few english players who have adapted to the new passing style very well"

something like that anyway i'm trying to find it online and cant quote him direct now as my daughter turned the telly over ffs so cant rewind.

I believe once he breaks Sir Bobby Charltons record he will leave UTD. After that there is nothing there for him, He has won all major honours at the club, broken the goal scoring record. All thats left is to finish of his career at his boyhood club. Hopefully by then Martinez has got us into top gear and we are a in the Champions League.

Will take him at least three seasons to do that, if he does do it. Not sure we should be going for a 31 year old striker who would want a hefty wage.

Also loved Martinez comments on Rooney/Barkley when asked which he'd prefer at Everton...?

Answer: Both! Go on bobby lad!

He'll be back soon. Watching Ross is gonna give him a front seat view of everything he could of had as a Evertonian playing for his boyhood club.

Hmm he will be looking for another pay check of Man u, around 250k a week, that will keep him at Man u.

He already gets that. The fact that Ferguson is no longer in charge is the sole reason Rooney is still at the club, they had a major, major falling out.

Him and Moyes are getting on, but not to the point where he will keep him much past the end of this season. Trouble is also the relationship of Stretford and Moyes, with Rooney still seeing Stretford as father figure...... against almost everyones judgement.....

He only got two years left at 250k and will be looking at a new contract at 250 on 5 years.

link? where was this?

I think Rooney's statements are truly just a tribute to the way Everton are playing (and he would know, he is a fan and he does follow). People will use it to say he hates Moyes' style, but I think that's rubbish.
