Sandro Ramirez.
I like the lad, he runs about a lot and scored a fair few goals in a decent league. I just don't see how he plays as the focal point of our team, with the other players signed and with the style RonKo has set us up with. Walsh must have known this and if that is plan B it is looking a bit ropey. I'm pretty sure Sandro was signed to play as one of the two forwards behind or out wide from a more traditional CF in a front three. Who, as of now, we do not have in the squad.

You could be right and you could be way off.
We will see this time tomorrow.

If we sign a decent left sided defender and a good striker then I'd say we've closed the gap, particularly and hypothetically speaking we sign a Batman type. Our squad would literally rival that of Arsenal's.

Even then I think we're underestimating Arsenal's squad. They've still got that 'star' quality in the likes of Sanchez- if he stays- that we lack. But given how toxic their situation is, I would definitely give us a chance of overtaking them. Can only wait and see how it plays out over the coming months.

You can set up a style but you have to be flexible. Ramirez is a young forward who scores goals at a high level.
He'll improve with game time in the Premier League and I hope his injury is short term.

I hope we get a striker today, but I won't wet the bed if we don't. (I also have high hopes for DCL)

I don't disagree with any of that but I just fear that without a new striker (a good one, not Okaka or Feeney) we look really short of goals. And, because I also think DCL and Sandro look decent, it is unfair to expect a couple of young lads, one of whom who has never played in this league before, to fill the void left by Lukaku. I stand by my statement that this has been poor planning by Walsh, Koeman and the board.

Have to agree leaving it to the last minute when they knew for months Rom was leaving is poor planning. The next 24 hrs is going to shape our season be a struggle for goals without a focal point up top

Moshiri and Kenwright are exactly like Gold and Sullivan. Promise a lot and deliver little.

If this doesn't go as planned today, it will be the second failure of a vital window.

The man wouldn't be capable of pushing us on.

I'd join the growing list of Moshiri Out.

It is absolutely crucial that a top class striker is signed by midnight, to complement the players we already signed this summer. The negative side of me say's that we cashed all our chips on Giroud signing, and once he decided to stay at Arsenal we were stumped. Some of the players we are linked with are not that exciting are they? Some lad from Watford like?Do the board plan on balancing the books and a new striker will be signed on the cheap, or does Steve Walsh and Koeman have a proper replacement for Rom lined up, and no expenses will be spared to make sure that he signs for us?Are they waiting to sell Barkley first?A lot of questions and Steve Walsh and the board have under 18 hours to answer them.Surely it's not going to be another deadline day fiasco like last August?

Deadline day closes at 11pm so it's under 17 hours actually.Lukaku has been gone ages yet here we are, facing a desperate last second scrap to secure a replacement. The selling club has us right where they want us as well.It would have worked out a lot cheaper to have all this sorted before the last day of the window.

'The plans he's got for this club'

'I went all the way to the £70m asking price for Koulibaly'

'We have a window for change, we must take it'

Has Talksport as his mouthpiece

You carry on laughing, though. I'm sure you know what the great plan is:hayee:

Hey I agree with you.

You just love it though. And it's so funny.
