OK, let me try and make this simple for you as my central point seems to be impossible for you to understand. The club employ people to find players for us in positions that we don't have players for. They couldn't do that. That is bad. I could name lots of players. That would be a waste of time because the club don't employ me and so won't buy them. They shouldn't employ me because I am not a qualified person. Me naming players to you is pointless because you will find a way to refute them because that is the game you are currently playing with several posters. You think it is clever. It is not. And neither are you.

Are you seriously suggesting that it's ok we didn't sign a striker?

Asking someone to name players we could have sign is pointless, but let's do it anyway. What about Hernandez, Llorente, Batshuayi, Benteke to name Just 4.

Stop apologising for the board's ineptitude. They had months and months to identify a striker. Nobody is saying we could get someone as good as Lukaku but I'm not having the idea that there wasn't a single player available who would have improved us and would have come here.

The point that is sailing over your head is,they can identify as many players as would keep you happy.If the clubs won't sell, or the players (Giroud and wife) who don't want to come.What would you have the club do? Make official outlandish bids for Aguero or Sanches....just to be knocked back.Everybody knew Lukaku would be impossible to replace and that getting top players in is a difficult trick to pull off. You know a bit like has happened to City and Chelsea.I'd stick to FIFA 17 if I was you,far less stressful.

Given the fact that we very nearly covered our net spend expenditure and balanced the books with potential sales of Niasse and Barkley.

I put it to you all, out of all the signings we made this window which ones would we not have been able to accomplish before under Kenwright?

I'm apologising for nobody.Just pointing out the obvious fact that which ever player you want there are many hurdles to cross before you get them (if at all) Barkley to Chelsea, Sanchez to City,Lemar to Arsenal.....do you see a pattern developing? And as for Hernandez...Koeman was looking for a target man.Llorente surprising as it might seem to you chose Spurs while knocking back Chelsea (but we must have had a chance in your mind ...obviously) Batshuayi was going nowhere while Costa plays games and Llorente chose Spurs and Benteke...do you think Palace are looking to get relegated before Christmas?
