Which proves without DOUBT that NET spend means nothing and infact, since Moshiri took over, we have 3rd Highest NET spend in the entire league.

But you can a cup by not improving. In my opinion that squad is no better after all the money spent on it. This started out with Dave saying you can only improve by having a positive net spend. My argument was making the correct signings even if it costs less is the way to go.

I think you's are both right in a way but lets go back 15 years to Everton, who would your money be on to win a cup or the league us or someone like Chelsea or Man U who had money to spend, that should be the point

Oh agreed. But we could be bringing in 150m this summer and with the 50m from Stones he wants the lot spent and more otherwise nothing has changed.

Also doesn't take into account that he has cleared the debt and put in place an interest free loan. It doesn't mean we are clear of debt technically but it puts us in a much stronger position financially given the debt is held in house.

I think this is the real issue. Moshiri is no fool and the club seems to be doing the right things. It takes time but I'm happy that we are moving in the right direction, after years of treading water.......

Your line in bold just says "LFC would have well outspent us, if only they'd have spent more".

Hold on, you seem to have just taken that season on its own and not acknowledged the five year and ten year net spend records and accompanying levels of success....and you imply I'm selective.
