Just wanted to give a clearer view on the man himself and your take on things.

Mendes: just because Nuno is a client of his, it’s wrong to think he would in anyway be part of your club.

Mendes has a right as his agent to pass on any offers of intent.

But let’s get one thing right. Mendes is part of Wolves takeover. Our owners FOSUN own part of gestifute his agency. He would in know way offer Nuno to you or upset his employers.

It’s everton who have made the contact THROUgh Mendes.

Nuno himself: read a few comments where apparently he isn’t good enough for you.

Find it staggering.

He left Porto (not fired from Porto’s owner himself) to take up the Wolves ‘project’.

Wolves had to wait a year however to sign him as Julien Lopetegui The now Spain national manager had agreed to take the Wolves job but due to the delay in the take over he had no choice to accept his country.

His record speaks for itself in reality.

In his first managerial job he took Rio Ave to both the Portuguese and league cup finals as well as the Europea league for the first time in their history.

He then left to go to Valencia.

He took them back into the champions league in his first season.

He then resigned from Valencia to take up Portos managerial offer. Despite not winning any trophy in his season there he took them into the champions league quarter finals and finish 2nd in the league.

He then joined Wolves and is giving us the best football many have seen for decades.

His aura and calmness, his refusal to blame, his tactical awareness and his people skills are unrivalled in any manager I see week in week out. He is a star in the making, with Wolves or without Wolves. He will become one of if not the best. That’s why we want him to stay, that’s why we are so relaxed week in week out as fans. He is a stable manager that speaks the truth and knows his own faults. His work ethic and his involvement with the fans and players is something that can only be admired. He is different gravy to anyone. He may not have the reputation of pep, or mourinho, but in my eyes he has the potential to become better than them.

On Fosun: Fosun are the largest privately owned investment company in China.

Their holdings equate to over £53 billion.

Their annual profits are circa £1.3 billion pounds.

They have £11 billion pounds cash and their chairman Gua Guangchang has a personal wealth of $9.8 billion.

The make up of the company has multiple billionaire directors and owners.

In terms of wealth they are only outdone by that of Manchester City in England and one of the wealthiest in Europe. Their rival is Wanda who as football fans will know are owners of Atletico Madrid.

Their aim is Champions League football within 3-5 years.

With Mendes connections which have already allowed us to snap up the likes of Jota, Neves, Costa and co building a solid foundation of long term players of a certain age you can see them doing it.

They have recently put forward that they are revisiting plans for the redevelopment of Molineux which previously has permission for 40,000 capacity. It seems they want to go bigger and better and introduce a safe standing south bank. They have improved relationship with the fans no end. From rounds on away days in the pub, free tickets to supporters. Free coach travel, they’ve introduced fan zones, opened the stadium up for training sessions,m and their transparent. They will tell us exactly what’s going on. as a company and ownership they have made Wolves the best I’ve known it since I became a fan.

It’s remarkable how good they are and how much they’ve done in such a short space of time.

Summary: I wouldn’t underestimate wolves or Nuno. He is arguably too good for us and too good for you.

Luckily he has been sold a project and he wants to achieve it.

You may be big club, but Fosuns aim is for Wolves to be bigger. With their wealth and connections do I think it’s possible?

Absolutely
What top players would want to live in Wolverhampton? In fact, what top player would want to live anywhere in the Midlands?!

Best of luck with it mate, would you not be concerned that the same story was spun at, Portsmouth, Blackburn, QPR, Aston Villa, Leeds, Forest, Birmingham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Derby, Sheffield Weds, Cardiff, Fulham, Hull etc.

Wolves may just be different though.

I think this means that the statue of Steve Bull will be a more august monument than the Dixie Dean one in 3 seasons' time.

Alternatively this Nuno fella who I didn't even know about this morning likes to jump ship or falls into better jobs by shear luck. The Wolves fans like him and if he can make them think they're going to be CL regulars within 3 years then he's either a marvel or a Martinez level bullsh***r.

Still it ain't Sam or Sean so why not.

Your owners have been therefor two years, and you are still languishing in the championship. You will find the step up to the premiership far harder than you first think. Even if everything goes as you are suggesting you are at least 5 years away from getting to where we are currently at. As a club we are also moving forward quickly and at that point will likely have a world class stadium in one of the most identifiable spots in England. In essence you are a generation away from catching us, whatever your owners ambitions are.

As for your manager, he finished 3rd in a two horse race, and has ballsed up at Valencia. Let's be honest here, he has found his level which is a moderately sized division two club, or at best (if the project goes to plan) over the next few years a yo yo type club. He is miles away from managing one of the big 7.

So forgive my honesty but nobody is doing cartwheels at being linked to a second division manager who's never won anything.

Still reckon this is a total plant by the wolves manager and Balague, raise his profile, spin a news story, Sky report all the while running a betting book on who the next Everton manager is.

Work it out.
You might be right, but I don’t think it hurts us much. The more competition there appears to be for the job, the more attractive it’ll seem.

Oh and I should say there is absolutely no chance we are initiating talks here. His agent will be doing it, and we will decide whether we want him or not.

We had this with Southampton (who were at least a premier league club and have not spent most of the last 30 years in the second division or lower). Trying to make out we were busily pursuing Koeman and he was rejecting is. They all looked pretty stupid when as we always stated, once we said we wanted him he came.

If we took 6th placed Southamptons manager we will have no trouble taking second division Wolves, irrespective of the wealth or ambition or your owners or your proposed 40k stadium plans.

I mostly agree with what you're saying here but it is provided we turn it around on field quickly and sort some major flaws out behind the scenes also.

Wolves fan, not really in peace. I think some of you lot need to educate yourselves a little more. You do come across as quite ignorant.

I'm not going to tell you i think we are a bigger club at the moment, we arent. In both clubs overall histories however, there wouldnt be a lot between both clubs. You lot have overachieved and done well from time to time, but you are hardly a heavyweight of English football at the moment. All i see is a club who do well as the underdogs and can't handle the pressure of expectation. Living in the shadow of Liverpool would be giving you an inferiority complex as they are far and away the biggest and most successful club on mersyside.

Its a bit rich that you think you could just take any clubs manager just because they are in a lower league. I wouldnt underestimate what Fosun are bringing to the table. The previous Wolves fan on here is pushing it to say how soon we could get CL football, but dont be surprised to see is top 8 in the same time frame. We have the financial clout and contacts in the game to really progress, and as any of you with any kind of intelligence and knowledge about Wolves overall history would know, the potential is there for us to do well. Its taken us a long, long time and many, many mistakes to get ourselves on the right path after the bhattis tried to run us into the ground. The signs are there to say this time we have it right.
