Memorable for me because I had just got a company car and started going to the away games. I went to this game taking five of my mates and just headed for the floodlights once off spaghetti junction. The lights turned out to be at Villa Park. Brilliant win for us but odd seeing HK playing for the opposition.
First silk I had was a very cheap make.Learnt an important lesson as a six year old coming away from that match! Tie a knot in your scarf hanging from the car window. Lost a very fashionable Everton silk scarf to a disgruntled brummie out of me dad's car
Spot on.If you were cool you wore the silk scarf down the outside of your jeans
And black and white checked Ben Sherman shirt with button down collarSpot on.
See it now, tank top, Flemings ice blue parallels and the cherry Doc Martins to finish off the sartorial appearance of a seventies football fan.
Easy to spot those who had a very good Christmas DayCrazy fixture scores on boxing day in 1963 - we got beat
