Remember Gabby getting his first under 21 cap for Scotland against Wales at Wrexham, I was there with hundreds of Evertonians that went to support him ,a true blue was Gabby,think he lives in the States now ? Always remember him at Wemley running the clock down,playing keep uppy by the corner flag.

Very good and interesting Billy, incidentally it mentions Alfredo Di Stefano joining Real Madrid from Columbian
football, I think he signed for Real Madrid and another Spanish club,Barcelona (?)in a mix up, the Spannish FA
decided he would play 1 year with each club, he started with Barcelona but had an indifferent season and they gave
up their rights on him, enabling him to join Real Madrid permanently.

aye something like that, or he signed for Barca and Franco stepped in on behalf of Real. Think Di Stefano played for the Colombian national team too, as well as Spanish and Argentinean.
